Can You Fit into a 34D Bra?

The best way to determine if you can fit into a 34D bra or any bra for that matter is to see a bra fitter. What is a bra fitter you might ask? A bra fitter is your saving grace when it comes to finding the right bra for you whether you need a 34D bra or a 38K bra. Before you learn what a fitter is, take a minute to evaluate the bra you are wearing.

A Look at Your Bra

Take off your shirt and stand in front of a mirror. Does your bra look right? Does it have wrinkles? Does it bulge or gap? All of these are indications that the bra is either too small or too large. Raise your hands into the air over your head. Does your bra move up? If it does, your bra band is too large. When you move your arms, your bra should stay put. Do your straps cut into your skin? This can also indicate that your bra band is too large and not properly supporting the weight of your bosom. When this happens, the straps end up supporting a lot of the weight, which can cause skin irritation and back problems.

So, if you have any of these problems, you know that your bra does not fit. So now what? What do you need to do to fix this problem? The answer is easy. Obviously, you do not know enough about bra sizing to be able to fit a bra for yourself. Don’t worry, most women don’t. Also, it’s simply difficult to fit a bra by yourself, even if you are experienced, and it’s much easier with the help of a bra fitter.

The Fitting

It doesn’t matter what size you need, whether it’s a 34A bra, a 34D bra, or a 34H bra, the fitter can help you. If you already know that you will need something larger than a 34D bra, you might want to call ahead to see if the store has some larger sizes in stock before you have your fitting. Most bra fitters are located in retail establishments.

This woman will look at your bra just the way you did, and she will evaluate it. Generally, she’ll go out into the store and bring you a few different sizes to try. For example, she might bring a 34D bra, a 36D bra, and a 34E bra. In just a few minutes, you will find the size that you need. The right bra will make you look and feel your best. So, if you think that you need a 34D bra or any other size, it’s best to see a bra fitter and be sure.

What Makes a Good Curvy Girl Bikini?

A number of things go into making a good curvy girl bikini. For example, you don’t want a bikini that costs an arm and a leg. You don’t want a bikini that cannot support your ample bust, and you don’t want a bikini that just isn’t cute. When you are looking for a good curvy girl bikini, you want one that is stylish, functional, and affordable.

Style

When it comes to styles, you often have a number of options. You can find tankinis, halter tops, traditional tops, and more. You can even find bandeau tops, which are strapless. However, this style is often limited to the smaller, large sizes, as the largest busts are not easily supported by a strapless bikini.

With brands like Fantasie and Freya, you can find a wide variety of colours and patterns. Just take a look at the Fantasie Bali, for example. The Bali is dark blue bikini with a subtle, alligator print. It comes in a bandeau top, a full cup top, or a tankini. You can also choose from two different styles of matching briefs.

Function

A curvy girl bikini that is stylish is important, but it’s even more important to find one that is functional. This means that the bikini supports you properly so that you don’t have to worry about sagging or slipping out. You want to find a curvy girl bikini that is made like a bra. These bikinis will feature typical bikini styles, but they will also have underwires and the same structure as a bra. These bikinis are more supportive, and you should stay away from anything that is sized “S,” “M,” “L,” etc. This means that you need to know your bra size, so be sure to get a fitting if it has been a while.

Price

Finally, when you are looking for a good curvy girl bikini, you want to consider the price. Now, bikinis are not the least expensive article of clothing out there, and you can expect to pay about £55 to £65 for the whole bikini (top and bottom). Typically, the more fabric that is involved, the more expensive the bikini will be. As a result, a tankini will likely be more expensive than a bikini.

So, when you are shopping for your next bikini, you want to take the time to consider the style, the function, and the price. When a curvy girl bikini fits well and looks good, you will feel great!

Help! The Fitter Just Told Me I Need a Huge Bra!

If you recently visited a bra fitter for the first time, you might have been surprised to learn that you need a huge bra size. Many women have a hard time believing the fitter when she tells them that they really need a much larger size than they were wearing previously. This is a fairly common occurrence. Many women are wearing the wrong size, and many of these women are wearing bras with band sizes that are too big and cup sizes that are too small.

So, if you just went to a fitter and she handed you a huge bra, what do you do now?

Change Your Wardrobe

When this happens, you will likely have to change your whole wardrobe in terms of bras. For example, you thought you needed a 36 C. As a result, you have seven 36 C’s in your closet. Now, after visiting the fitter, she told you that you need a huge bra—a 34 E. The 34 E will actually have the same amount of coverage as the 36 C, but it will provide you with better support because of the firmer band.
So, none of the bras that you own fit properly now, and you will need to replace them all. This can be intimidating, but it’s not impossible. All you have to do is start small and shop smart.

Avoid the Stores

You want to avoid the traditional lingerie stores when you need a huge bra. If you have a speciality lingerie store in your area that focuses on well-endowed women, you might be able to shop there. The typical lingerie store, however, might not carry your size (especially if it’s very large) and/or they might not have much of a selection in your size.

That being said, you might want to purchase a bra or two at the store where you get fitted. This way you will at least have something that fits. However, you should not feel obligated to replace your entire bra collection at that store.

Shop Online

The best thing you can do when you need to buy new bras is to shop online. Once you know your bra size it’s easy. All you have to do is search for your specific size. You can also look for retailers that sell large size and plus size bras. If you want to find a good huge bra or two, the internet is a great place to look. You will have many more options online than you will in your local stores.

So, if a fitter has just told you that you need a huge bra, take a deep breath, avoid the stores, and shop online.

Freya is Fabulous

If you are looking for well-made, fun lingerie, you should check out a brand called Freya. This brand makes pieces that are fun, bright, and flirty. If you want something comfortable and well-constructed, but a little bit edgy, you should definitely take a look at this brand. They make lingerie, swimwear, and more. This brand also focuses solely on large breasted women. This means that even if you have big breasts, you still have nice, stylish options.

Edgy Options

Two edgier options from Freya include the Arabella and the Ada. These are two bras that you will love if you like sexy, flirty lingerie. The Arabella is a sheer underwired plunge bra. It also features feminine, pink accents as well as a pink bow. This bra features three section construction and rigid cups. Both of these things provide support and comfort for big breasts.

The Ada is another fun option from Freya, and it is also an underwired plunge bra. It features a tattoo-like pattern with winged hearts, flowers, and more on a white background. This bra features solid cups topped with semi-sheer panels. Both of these bras come with matching panty options.

Basic Options

If you are looking for good quality basics, Freya can offer these as well. The Deco is an underwired, plunge bra as well, and it is a plain, moulded bra that works well with a variety of outfits. It comes in a couple of basic colours like black and nude, and it looks great on anyone.

The Freya Patsy is another fairly basic bra that is offered by this brand. This is an underwired, half cup bra, and it features slight padding. The bra is mainly black, but it features gold polka dots throughout as well as a gold lace trim along the tops of the cups. Along the bottom of the bra’s band, you will find a feminine picot trim, and the look is completed by a gold bow on the centre gore. The formed cups and the slight padding help to shape and support the wearer’s bosom. Both of these bras have matching panty options.

These are only a few of the options that this brand has to offer. If you spend a little time browsing online, you can easily find something that suits your tastes whether you prefer something edgy or something basic. When it comes to Freya you can find both fashion and quality for well-endowed women.

Fit and Flatter your Bust

If you’ve got a large chest then you probably know a thing or two about big bras. But there’s always someone out there that knows more than you do. In the case of big bras, that person would probably be a professional bra fitter. A professional bra fitter is someone who determines what your proper bra size is and helps you find the perfect bras to fit and flatter your bust.
Throughout a woman’s lifetime her bra size will change six times, on average. That’s why it’s important to get a professional bra fitting every once in a while, because even though you think your big bras have stayed the same size for years, you could be wrong. Changes to your size can occur from weight loss or gain, pregnancy, or surgery, such as breast implants, breast reduction, or mastectomy.
It’s quick, easy and painless to set up an appointment for a professional fitting. Most department stores or lingerie stores have a professional fitter on-site. You can ask the desk clerk to help you locate and set up an appointment to have your big bras fitted. If they don’t have a fitter on-site year-round, they may still have a special fitting event once or twice throughout the year. Even if you don’t see signs specifically advertising that they have an on-site fitter, it never hurts to ask.
Now that you have your appointment set to have your big bras fitted, you may be feeling nervous. Don’t worry, this isn’t going to hurt and there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. These people are professionals and they will treat you with care and respect. Most likely you will not even need to go bra-less. The fitter may measure you over your current bra or just assess the fit of your current bra to determine what sizes will actually work best on you. If you are uncomfortable undressing down to your bra, many will still be able to accurately fit you even if you wear a tank top over your bra. There’s no need to feel uncomfortable, they’ve seen plenty of breasts before!
Once they have determined what size fits you, they will bring in a couple of big bras for you to try on and see what you feel the most comfortable in and what flatters your body the best, and you’ll be looking and feeling better by the time you leave.

Do I Need Plus Size Bras?

When it comes to large bras, there are a number of different terms that you may have heard like large size bras, big bras, plus size bras, etc. How are you supposed to know which ones you need? Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to figure out what kind of bras you need, and all you have to do is visit a professional bra fitter.

It’s a What?

When it comes to bras, there are a lot of different terms, and many of them are used interchangeably. For example, the terms large bras and big bras are often used interchangeably, and they are general terms used to describe bras that feature a D cup or larger. Mainstream bras are the bras that are smaller. These are the mainstream sizes such as A cups, B cups, and C cups.

Large size bras are bras that feature small to average band sizes (28 to 36) combined with large cups (D or larger). So, if you need a 28 E bra, you need a large size bra. Plus size bras, however, are the bras that combine large band sizes (38 and larger) with large cups sizes (D and larger).

Plus Size Bras and Getting Fitted

So, if you have always worn smaller band sizes, it’s unlikely that you need plus size bras. However, you should still see a bra fitter if you never have before, especially if you have larger breasts. It’s recommended that you see bra fitter at least once a year, regardless of your size.

Finding a fitter is usually pretty easy, and they generally work at department stores and lingerie stores. You might want to call ahead to see if you need an appointment or to see what the fitter’s hours are. Generally, you can just walk in and see the fitter, but it’s best to be prepared. You also want to make sure that they have a variety of plus size bras in stock. It’s frustrating to go for a fitting only to find out that they only carry up to E cup bras, and you need an H cup.

The fitter will quickly evaluate the bra you are wearing. She wants to make sure that the band is tight enough and that your cups fit properly. If you have ever had any problems with bra discomfort, you are probably wearing the wrong size. Whether you need plus size bras, large bras, or large size bras, you should take the time to see a fitter and make sure you are wearing the right size bra!

Spa Day

Have you ever longed for a day spent with your girlfriends lounging in your large bras and robes at the spa? I know I have. Well, now that its fall and the kids have headed back to school why not take a break from all the hustle and bustle and schedule a spa day with your friends? If you think you can’t afford an actual full day of pampering at your local spa, then why not invite your friends over for an at home spa party?

Send invitations out to your girlfriends ahead of time. Let them know they will be relaxing in their large bras and bathrobes while they get facials and massages. Trust me, they will make the time in their schedules! Once you have the final count, you’ll want to start searching for your masseuse. There are many professional masseurs who bring their own massage table and supplies for at home parties. Make sure you have someone with references and a legitimate license.  Legitimate masseurs will not mind if your guests want to leave their large bras on while receiving their massage.

Make sure you set up your space with relaxing themes. Remember that some of your friends might not be comfortable lounging around in their large bras and robes. You want to make sure the lighting is semi-dim and natural light and candle-light, which are more flattering than florescent and incandescent lights. Keep the colors light, calming and neutral, and provide some soft music. Make sure the area where you will have the masseur set up his or her table is clean and clear of debris, with plenty of space so he or she can move around the table unimpeded.

If you have a lot of friends coming over for your spa day you may want to hire more than one masseuse. This way you don’t have anyone waiting around in their large bras for hours to get their massage.
If you don’t want to spring for a professional masseuse, you can always do a do it yourself version. Pick up simple face masks from the store and have everyone give each other facials. Put hair masks in your hair and leave it on until the facials are ready to come off to get gleaming hair and skin in one shot.  Take turns giving manicures and pedicures until everyone has beautiful manis and pedis. You can use the same decorating tips listed above. That way everyone can get comfortable and relaxed in their large bras.
